Okay, I'm a little late with the post this week. I hope you can all forgive me.
And, to add insult to injury, it's another short post. Sorry!!!!
We're cooking up some really great new products here at the Sea. All I can say for now, however, is this: Kailani is coming. Keep an eye on this blog to find out more.
Until then,

Going Green...with Indie!
Spirit Sea has been honored with the opportunity to showcase our products at this year's inaugural "Green with Indie" craft fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Vendors were chosen based upon their products, displays, and way of re-thinking everything to be greener...healthier for the environment. We are proud to have been chosen and are currently putting the final touches on our new, greener packaging. That, combined with our new, more natural bases and products completes our revamped product line and we are bursting at the seams to show it off.
So, if you will be in the St. Louis area (Specifically Webster University) on March 21 or 22, 2009, please stop by and see what all the commotion is about. Oh, and if you do, bring your own paper or fabric bag. We'll not be using any plastic bags at Green with Indie.
See you there!

How's Your Sniffer?
This week I'd like to know what your favorite scents are. Not necessarily what Spirit Sea scents (although feel free to let me know!), but what your favorite scents are in general. What scent invokes a pleasant memory for you? What scent always makes you smile?
For me, it's the scent of freshly cut grass. And, strangely, it also reminds me of watermelon for some reason. It never fails to make me breathe deeper and smile on the inside as well as the outside.

Winter thoughts...
Thought I forgot about ya, didn't ya? Nah. I'm just crazy busy with my day job right now. How's everyone doing out there? Are you ready for spring? I know I am. This has been a cold cold winter so far.
Winters are tough on everyone's skin, and I've been doing my best to combat the scritchy-scratchies by using the Spirit Sea Luxury Lotion. It's great! Soothing to my dry skin without leaving it oily. My personal luxury fragrance? Hot Chocolate! It's my splurge of decadence without any of the guilt normally associated with chocolate. I just love the way my skin feels and smells after applying it!
Want to try it for yourself? Hop on over to the Spirit Sea website and order some today!

Would you go naked?
Just a short little note this week, I'm afraid. My day job is really hectic this week and what time I don't have spoken for is spent sleeping.
I wanted to ask all of you a question. As noted in last week's blog, I am in the process of re-vamping the packaging of the Spirit Sea products to make them more 'green'. A few of the products we currently sell (i.e. bath bombs, soaps) 'could' be sold 'naked'. My question to you is, would you buy a product without a wrapper if it meant one less thing to be tossed into a landfill?
What are your thoughts? I'm very curious!
Until next time,
Peace, Love and Spirit...

I'm still here. Are you?
Here it is, week 2 of my resolution and I remembered to post! Yay!
So? How are you doing this week? I've been busy. Here at Spirit Sea I am desperately revamping my product packaging to be more greener. I really think we should all do our part to save the Earth, and part of the way I'm doing that is by using recycleable materials for packaging my bath salts, milk baths, and other products. Of course that means starting from the ground up and I'm just now getting the idea for my new bags finalized. Stay tuned for the reveal coming soon!
I also want to mention that the Spirit Sea soap products are now made with all-natural bases, and the fragrances are completely phthalate free! And don't forget, our candles have always been and will always be made with natural soy wax.
That's all for now. Let's keep our planet healthy!
Peace, Love, and Spirit...
Gina

Happy New Year!
Well, here it is, another year. 2009. Wow. It still seems odd to me that we're in the 2000s, and yet almost a decade has passed. It's amazing how time flies.
Today I'm starting my New Year's Resolution. What is it, you ask? Well, you're reading it! My resolution for 2009 is to post here at least once a week. What I'll post, I'm not actually sure of yet. I do know there will be product posts, health and home posts, contests, and maybe a coupon or two. You never know what might show up here. It might even be something completely unrelated to Spirit Sea, but fun, none the less.
For now, however, I am going to list my favorite Spirit Sea products, for your review:
1. My newest favorite product is what we call "Joseph's Soaps". They are single use soaps in Disney shapes. The kids will love them! I know the namesake does. *waves at Joseph*
2. I also love a product that was removed from the line, but is coming back now, due to popular demand. "Jelly Jems"!!! The no-flame, gel crystal style room scenting solution. This time of year the eucalyptus fragrance is most popular, with peppermint a close second. They are both great at soothing winter 'stuffiness'.
And finally, number 3. "Soap Scrubbies". My version of an updated 'Soap on a Rope'. A bar of our quality soap in your choice of fragrance with an embedded mini scrubby inside. FABULOUS lather. It's sooooooo decadent.
Okay, so those are my current top three. What are your favorite products in the Spirit Sea line? I'd love to know!
Until next time,
Peace, Love, and Spirit...
